We are both young(21) and I have experience in window cleaning and pressure cleaning. We want to get a newer pickup truck,a trailer and equipment,we would pay a few hundred on advertising,bussiness cards,glossy flyers,etc. Could we really make this into something we both make good money at(just us mind you!) We live in Bradenton Florida,and there are a lot of wealthy pottential customers in my area! Let me know what you think,and any advice you might have with the bussiness! Thanks!

www.gotprint.com has the absolute best prices on color brochures, flyers, business cards, post cards. They do a good job too.
Working together can be tough. My husband and I have been working together for 5 years. We have our good days and our bad days. I don’t recommend it for everyone. But, if you have similar work ethics and a common goal, you will fair much better than most. Just remember:
She is someone you love and not an employee.
If there is a conflict with the business, deal with it on a professional level and don’t get personal, even if you really want to. It will turn out bad.
I have never marketed a business like yours, but the best advertising for our money has been the “shoppers guide” free papers. Usually their circulation is pretty wide spread. You want to saturate the zip codes that this paper is mailed to with your flyers and cards and such. Kind of like layering…they will see your ad, then a flyer, your business card,etc… they may not need their windows cleaned today, but when they do, name recongnition will help you to get the call.

run a food concession trailer with gen and it keeps popping the 30amp plug when i have all the equip on. coffee pots ,steam pans, ref,freezer and other stuff

Yes you should thats what the marking says and coffee pot tend to draw alot because of the heating element, also the fridge when the compresser kicks on.

I need to buy a certain vehicle for my band. We plan on getting a trailer to load our equipment/merchandise, and I need a vehicle to tow it with. The only problem is that I would also be taking this car to college 3 days a week, so I need something with good MPG to it. The car that I’m buying would probably have to be used because I’m limited to what I can spend, but that will come later when I start looking for it. I just need some good suggestions on what kind of car I should buy. Any help would be great!

get a chevy truck it’s pretty cheap it has lots of space in the trunk and it’s easy for going and coming from college. it’s not something really big and it’s not something relly small.

you can call some dealers about what they cost new. shouldn’t be to hard. to find dealers for cat . as for protrak they have a web site www.protraktrailers.com. you casn find a old kelly blue book for the dumptruck. good luck

By boyfriend has a 2007 V8 Ford Explorer. If I wanted to borrow my friend’s 2-horse trailer, bumper pull, would his Explorer be able to handle it? I would only have my horse in the trailer.

I’m in Texas, and I just heard this. Is it true that even if the driver works for a company or owner/operator it still goes on the driver’s record? and after three that driver could lose his/her license? What if my daily inspection was good, but I had a brake light go out during my route? I need to know because I’m considering going back on the road. Thanks for everyone’s input!

That’s really a good question and very important but instead of putting this in the hands of the general public, you could call any attorneys office in Texas (that deals with 18-wheelers) and ask them plus they would be able to give you this information free and on point….

I just bought a 2 horse trailer that is nice, but baby blue and maroon. Which isn’t exactly for me. If I sanded and primed it myself, how much would it cost to have it professionally painted? Not a perfect job, but just so it looks nice.

It’s trailer towing capacity is rated at 3,500 lbs. So I suggest you find out what the trailer + horses will weigh before throwing it on your car. 3,500 lbs is about the weight of many of todays Sedans.
